Daughter of a Hospice Patient Grateful for Entire Hospice Team

“I am so appreciative of the kindness and compassion of the Heartland Hospice team during the time my mother was in their loving care. Almost daily, I was contacted to be notified of my mother's condition, inquiries to how I was doing, questions about my family’s needs and changes to medications or behaviors. The amazing services provided (including routine bathing, music therapy, religious support, and volunteer buddies, just to name a few) made each day a joy to my mother.

English being her second language, Heartland Hospice took the extra time to get to know my mother personally, identifying her particular likes, personality, preferences, and related to her on a personal level. They were willing to assist in any way and the whole will always be a part of my heart. I can never adequately express in words what their support and pure friendship has meant to my family. Each team member has touched my heart to include the nurses, religious support, music, skin care and personal needs, medical care, volunteers… everyone made my mother’s last few months so memorable and comfortable.

To watch a loved one decline is never easy. With Heartland Hospice's support and professionalism, I always felt my mother was in comforting and loving hands.
