A Heartfelt Thank You Letter from a Grateful Family

"To our wonderful Hospice Team,

Our family is grateful for your loving care, kindness and concern for and to our Mother and our family. Your attention and anticipation of Mother’s needs greatly assisted her peaceful transition and gave comfort to all of us. 

Mom was gratefully accepted into your Palliative Care program in mid-March and within a couple of weeks was transitioned to your Hospice Care. Your quick response to our calls and questions exceeded our expectations and left us with a better understanding of what Hospice Care is all about. 

Without Heartland Hospice response, staffing and volunteers, we believe we would have been overwhelmed and not able to care for our Mother at the level provided with you as our partner. Thank you!

During our journey, we were able to remember only some of the names of the Heartland team that touched our lives. We know there are many others, including those behind the scenes. Please pass along our gratitude for their care. The nurses and the aids were particularly amazing. We watched in awe and with much love as they so skillfully and carefully cared for our Mother, always treating her with such dignity, respect and kindness. 

When we think of Hospice, it will always be Heartland Hospice to us."
